Welcome to Ms. Laura's Lower Elementary Montessori Classroom. This is the place for students to communicate with each other and to me and for parents to find information about Montessori education.
Paige, I heard from Katie that you asked (without prompting) if you could pick up trash on the playground to make it more beautiful...You are amazing!!! Thank you for making our playground a wonderful place!
As difficult as testing week is for the children (and staff), you all did remarkably well. I was so happy to see how the first graders were so quiet while working outside. The seconds and thirds alternated from work time to testing time. We enjoyed 'testing tools' (sugarfree candy and gum) during testing and a lovely breakfast thanks to our wonderful parents. Good job to all!
Your were so sweet today when you stepped in to help a friend who was scared and hurting. By reading two stories to her you helped her through a difficult time. It was very caring and thoughtful.
Mary, you showed great patience and maturity when offering to help a classmate today. I'm very proud of you!
ReplyDeleteCeili,
